DA-PAK

The Alice DA-PAK is a dual 1 input, 4 output, distribution amplifier primarily intended as a mixer output splitter for feeding several record or programme destinations from a single stereo output. The unit is housed in a convenient case designed to be free standing or to be easily into woodwork etc. Performance is equivalent to Alice's rack mounted distribution amplifiers but the unit has its gain fixed to unity. Inputs are balanced and bridging, outputs are balanced but may be individually wired unbalanced if required. Audio connectors are Neutrik XLR type, mains input is via an IEC connector (cable supplied).

Sum & Diff Pak

The Sum & Diff Pak converts left and right line level signals to sum and difference signals or will convert sum and difference signals to left and right.Primary uses include connection to mixer pre-fader insert points for conversion of M-S stereo microphone configurations to A-B. Also for converting A-B (left and right) to M-S(Sum and Difference)for feeding tape recorders, landlines and satellite links or any stereo circuit where phase errors may occur. A similar unit at the receive end reconverts the M-S signals to re-establish the left and right signals. Phase errors, critical when compatible mono is derived, are converted into a reduction of stereo width, which is far less objectionable than the loss or even complete cancellation of the phase-shifted frequencies. A complete 180 deg. reversal of phase, common in outside broadcast circuits, results in a reversal of the stereo image rather than complete cancellation of central mono signals. Output gain is adjustable via accessible multi-turn presets. Audio inputs and outputs are via Neutrik XLR-type connectors. Mains input is via an IEC connector. This unit is currently not RPK-1 rack mountable.

Promatch 1

The Alice Promatch 1 is a single direction pro-interface unit. 1 unbalanced stereo IN, such as domestic CD players or tuners to a professional balanced line level OUT. Unbalanced inputs are via phono (RCA) connectors, outputs are via Neutrik XLR type connectors. Mains input is via an IEC connector (cable supplied).

Phonopak 2

The Alice Phonopak is a broadcast quality RIAA equalised phono pre-amplifier optimised for use with moving magnet cartridges. The Phonopak 2 is a dual unit so that you can connect 2 turnatables, especially useful for DJ use. It has a selectable 20Hz rumble filter and adjustable gain range of 35db to 55db. This very popular product is a vital component of a turnatable installation.

Optopak 2

One of Alice's latest products the Optopak 2 is a dual mains light switcher rated at 2A output. The unit has a zero voltage switching that ensures minimal electrical noise. Operation is switched by closing contacts or by positive 5-24V.

Monopak

The Alice Monopak produces a fully buffered balanced line mono output from a balanced line stereo input. Output gain is adjustable via an accessible multi-turn preset from 10dB loss to 20dB gain, reference 0dB input on both left and right inputs. Balanced audio inputs and mono balanced output are via Neutrik XLR type connectors and can be wired unbalanced if required. Mains input is via an IEC connector supplied.

Mix-Pak

The Alice Mix-Pak is intended to mix four stereo sources to one stereo ouput. Applications include mixing several sources onto the same mixer input, or other applications where unity gain mixing of line level signals is required. Inputs and outputs are balanced via Neutrik XLR type connectors and may be wired unbalanced if required. Mains input is via an IEC connector (cable supplied).

Mix-Minus-Pak

The Mix-Minus-Pak allows the generation of a clean feed suitable for a telephone hybrid. The unit takes the mixer output and a tap from the telephone fader and outphases the telephone signal, thereby removing it, producing an output equivalent to the mixer output minus the telephone fader. A multiturn pre-set is provided for adjustment of cancellation null. A bandpass filter of 300Hz to 3.5kHz is provided on the output to pre-condition the signal to the telephone hybrid. Any number of units can be connected to allow generation of multiple feeds for conference calls. Audio inputs and outputs are via Neutrik XLR type connectors, mains input is via IEC connector (cable supplied).

Please note this product is not compatible with the RPK1, our 19" rack mountable adaptor due to the rear connections present.

Line-Amp-Pak 2

The Alice Line-Amp-Pak 2 is a balanced stereo input to balanced stereo output amplifier with variable gain via accessible multi-turn pre-sets. Audio inputs and outputs are via Neutrik XLR type connectors and may be wired unbalanced if required, enabling the unit to be used for unbalanced to balanced conversion or vice versa. A mains cable is included.

Level Devil

The Alice Level Devil is a hide-away stereo VCA limiter, ideal for unobtrusive overload protection or gain riding of feeds to tape machines etc. Typical uses include newsrooms etc. where the pressure of deadlines often results in less care being taken with level control. The unit is also ideal as an economically priced line protection limiter/compressor for use in hospital or University radio stations and for outside broadcast applications. The multi-turn presets for input gain and threshold are DC controlled ensuring perfect stereo tracking. Inputs and outputs are balanced via XLRs. Mains connection is via an IEC (cable supplied).

RPK1

The Alice RPK1 is a 19" brushed blue aluminium panel to rackmount all of Alice Paks available in the Gold finish. This pak comes with the appropraite fixing screws for each pak. This adapter is not compatible with the Matchpak 2 due to this units rear panel connections.

If you want to manage and store your Alice GoldPaks in your safe and secure racks room housing, the RPK1 gives you that option.
